Postcards from Bath - Shooting our Debut
Share
With a suitcase filled to the brim with far too many props (13 - I went a little mad), we met the wonderful Meg at the Circus in Bath for our very first Parsley and Twine photoshoot in August 2024.

From parading up and town the cobbled street's in heels, to taking pretend phone calls with a retro phone and reading a Canva-made newspaper; this debut lifestyle shoot focused on the spirit of Parsley and Twine, - a brand built from a love of all things quintessentially English.

When we launched in September 2024, our Cow Parsley Collection comprised of two products - a Small Cow Parsley Scarf in Evergreen, along with a Large Cow Parsley Scarf in Blunt Orange.

I came up with the concept in May, whilst hand picking this favourite wildflower of mine, however the notable market gap for attainable yet meticulous crafted silk scarves, had been made apparent much earlier.

Like most founder's, I am my own customer. With there being a lack of attainable options in the market that were made well, I set off to create our own.

Available in our small size option (at 50cm x 50cm) as pictured here with our Evergreen, and along our large at (90cm x 90cm), scarves are 100% silk, and specifically designed for the English lifestyle.
With our silk on the thicker size (at 18mm), our customer enjoys a scarf which has been designed for both urban and country living. It's luxurious, practical, and versatile. Being double-sided as well, you can style on the go knowing that there's no need to hide the 'lighter side'.
We're also made with a lot of love. Aside from our rosy collections each being a unique 'love letter to England', our personal touch with shines through with our hand-drawn illustrations and our hand-rolled hems.

The photograph above was our last location on the shoot. Finishing strong on Pulteney Bridge at the floristry. What do you think?
With love,
Abbie
