Postcards from Oxford Central: Dark Cherry and Evergreen
Share
November 2024
As winter began to settle in, I found myself drawn to deeper tones - something rich, something warming. Dark Cherry emerged almost instinctively; a shade of burgundy designed to soften the edges of the colder months, and to lift the quiet lull of January.Along with our Evergreen colourway extending to our large size option.
On a crisp morning in late November, I met Meg once again in Oxford, tucked among the university buildings. Snow lingered lightly underfoot, and the city carried that familiar pre-Christmas hush - equal parts stillness and anticipation, with just a hint of indulgence in the air.
There’s something I’ve come to love about letting each shoot root itself in a different corner of England. In Oxford, the architecture does most of the storytelling for you - he worn stone, the narrow passages, the sense of history in every detail. And, of course, the Bridge of Sighs, quietly watching over it all.
And so the story continues, from one place to the next. Oxford or Bath; which has been your favourite so far?
