Postcards from Bath: The Beginning of Parsley and Twine

August 2024 

With a suitcase brimming with props - thirteen, to be exact (I got a little carried away), we met the wonderful Meg at the circus in Bath for Parsley and Twine’s very first photoshoot in August 2024. It was also the first time I met Meg in person, who has since become our official photographer.

From parading up and down cobbled streets in heels, to staging playful moments with a retro telephone and leafing through a branded newspaper, the shoot captured the vision of Parsley and Twine. Our brand rooted in a love of all things quintessentially English. From quiet residential streets to quick outfit changes in the middle of bustling tourist spots, with my boyfriend dutifully shielding me with my trench, it quickly became quite the adventure.

We launched a month later, with the website finished the night before, a vision but no plan, and our first order within four minutes of launching. I haven’t looked back since.
